Shelby Doodle.... exploring a new career choice!

Hi Doods,

My mom likes to joke that I could be an exterminator because... well, I LOVE to eat bugs! Although, there is one bug that I don't like much... it has a pincher on it, so I leave those alone.

The past couple of weeks.... I've learned that I have skills in a new area, one that may be unusual for doodles, but I am not so sure. It's interior decorating. Specifically, I like to work in the Master bathroom (which is where I like to sleep each night). My mom has done a nice job, the colors are very soothing.... she wants it spa like - there are candles, shells and lots of pretty glass (all of which I can't reach). I've been trying to communicate that I think some changes need to be made.... so each night, I put my touches on it. But then, in the morning -Mom puts it back the way she likes.

I say let the doodles decide.....

So doods.... let me know your thoughts - do you like my decorating talents? Do any of you decorate in your homes? I just think this is so much more....abstract, fun, creative and inspiring. If you haven't tried decorating, you should, it's fun.... especially late at night while your humans are sleeping. Mine always smiles and laughs a bit in the morning when she see "my work".

Silly humans! Every doodle knows that a cool, bare tile floor is much more comfortable in this hot weather than those fuzzy mats.

Shelby, you and Jane's Murphy have a lot in common! He also likes to eat bugs and redecorate the bathroom! He prefers to remove the rugs from the room entirely, whereas I see that you like that casual, "lived-in" look that's so popular now.
My own home-decorating specialty is throw pillows...I rearrange and relocate them, creating a tossled, casual look that is my own personal style! You should try it!

Hey, I just love how you decorated the bathroom!! Maybe I should try that. . . .I like to chew buttons off of sweaters during the night. I leave a nice pile of the buttons, but my mom is never happy. I'll try the bathroom tonight! : ^) Bodi
