I am currently babysitting my younger siblings this week while my parents are away on a 25th anniversary trip. Because my parents are gone, I have been keeping Darwin in the house with us, (bad me!) and of course, he is doing great. My siblings are really getting a kick out of the "indoor dog" novelty. Anyways, my sister thought she was SO hilarious when she printed this sign for our front door. :-) I think it will scare off any potential intruders for sure... LOL

Darwin you should keep a photo journal of your inside adventures, laying on the bed, sitting in chair, dinner at the table.  Your mom can use them for birthday cards.  LOL

Sue, all of the above. LOL. They dislike being inside for every possible reason. I think its more the principle of it though, because they know that Darwin is vaccinated, doesn't shed, non destructive, washed every other week, etc.

Maybe Camilla, when they get home and find out that Darwin has been inside all this time and their worst fears of that are not realized then they may change their minds about dogs inside? What is it that bothers them? Smell, shedding, destroying things or just the principle of it?

Darwin, you win the prize for fluffiest doodle. Camilla, I bet your dad doesn't think for one minute that you are keeping Darwin outside and why would you. When the cats away, the dog takes over. :>)

Deanna and F, both good points. He may be upset but he's the one who asked us to stay at their house for a week. No way am I boarding him for that time, and no way is he sleeping outside. My parents will just have to accept it, I'm doing them a favor. :-)
