I hate to say it, but I have to come to terms with it eventually. My 'supposedly' sweet and innocent "Pooh Bear" has a dark side. That's right, there's no denying it any longer. I have photographic evidence of his misdeeds. Poor Sophie Bear will never be the same again.

And to think, I trusted him!

He is Winnie the Pooh no longer. Winston the Wicked is his new name, and ripping up innocent creatures is his game.

First, he tore the face right off this cat:

Then he ripped the head right off of this squirrel:  NOT Piggy too!!! The first toy I ever bought Sophie Bear. How my heart aches. RIP Piggy!

What should I do with the guilty culprit?

The only thing you can do is keep all and every stuffie away from him.  My Gracie Doodle does the same thing and so does my grandpup who is a Rhodesian Ridgeback.  This actually is a good sign because it shows that Winnie is settling in nicely in his new home.  He is getting very comfortable and is happy.  I love the photo of him!!!

Clearly Winston just didn't like those toys...2nd hand and all.

Bruno - my oldest frenchie was a DESTROYER, so I bought a bunch of stuffies for Zach so he would have a few for his puppyhood. I figured that I would put them in his crate with him and replace them as Bruno found them and destroyed them. Well Bruno has given up his evil ways - and now I am overrun with stuffies.  So, you never know, Winston might reform his evil  ways. Regardless he is so cute I want to reach into the computer screen and cuddle him!!!!

Don't worry Winston. Gus says keep up the good work protecting everyone from the evil stuffed animals. Gus was the same way. I swear our house and yard looked like a stuffed animal body part cemetery.

It's ok Winston, Chloe is in this club too! You are just making yourself at home!

I save the remains and they still play with them shaking them to death time after time. I do not buy new stuffed toys. As my trainer used to say,Save a step and just give them $20 bill to rip up.

Phoebe, too, can only have unstuffed 'stuffies'.  You should have seen her stuffed Santa from last year...it was awful...gruesome, I tell you...head in one place, little red jacket in another, stuffing around her muzzle.  Scary stuff.

He does look guilty and very remorseful in this picture.  I say he's "a Dude just being a Dood".  I think they just can't help themselves when there's stuffing involved.

OMD, My standard doodles are THE DESTROYERS! We have antlers and super kongs for chewing. That's it. No stuffies, tennis balls or any plastic toy touted as "gorilla strength" at this house, ever. Sorry Sophie Bear. The lovey days are over. :o(
