I've been holding back...so not like me to hold in the most exciting thing that has happened to me.


So here goes.

We have adopted. We are so excited. So excited. So excited. Did I say we are so excited?

No dog should be alone.

We have tried to foster a few times--no match for our home. Spud picked on Lacey and Hailey eats cats--literally she would like to KILL just one of my two cats. I love my cats too. Everyone must be happy here.

We have had our application in since last September. We knew--we would have to start young now because of the cats. They are 13

We placed our name on a waiting list for a puppy--but I felt like I should continue my rescue search and try to adopt some dog in need. There she was... Just looking at me. She said here I am the day I put my name on the waiting list of a puppy.

It is meant to be............

She is so so cute! Is she the one that was on the front page rescue/ adoption section? I saw her and thought it looked like she dipped her nose in a paint bucket. Congratulations, she couldn't be more more precious!

When I get real excited I stay quiet. Strange because I am never quiet. But in extreme cases I actually shut-up. This is extreme, this is our love........... I just have no words for how happy we are.

Thank you Joy. I think it's a fit. In my heart I can feel her from here. It is all I can do to call her foster mom and bug her to death! But I am being good. NO BEGGING. I'm just here in a sit, until I can pick her up.
