With a great deal of emotion, I delivered Sweetie to her guardian home on Saturday--the new owners are lovely, have a great house and yard and lots of time and love for her, BUT it was still hard to say good bye to this very special girl. She just has a way of reading you and what you want that is remarkable--she will hopefully be a therapy dog someday because she would be awesome--hoping she has puppies here in a few years--
Here are some pics of the little pup taken at her new home--so proud of her and Lyric for producing her!!
Then there is Cooper--who was Lucky--now Lucky was a bit shy as a baby--but he has really come out of his shell and has had a great time here at my house--he runs around like he owns the place! His mom and dad have just returned from a trip to France and will be getting him on Wednesday--I will miss him, but can't wait to SLEEP LATER then 6 am!!!!! He looks a lot like Lucy and I was calling them the Bobsey twins (for those of you who are old enough to know who they are!) He loves to sleep outside under a chair in the puppy play yard...

aw, I am going to miss the adorable puppy pictures!
I just love your posts and your pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, his mom will be shocked to see how big he is--leaving him for 16 days at this age when they are growing so fast--you miss a lot! he is a little dog now! Took him to a friend's house last night where we had three couples enjoying a lovely spring dinner (complete with Ramp butter and boiled fiddleheads with vinagrette-- (both the ramps and fiddleheads were picked from the woods around here). Anyway, he was a perfect angel and slept at our feet for three hours while we ate--the other people there were shocked at how good he was--I think that when I told them I was bringing a puppy, they had a whole other vision of what they might be like in their minds (and not a good vision!)
Such beautiful puppies.I think I would have to puppy nap both of them.
Wow Ginny, he has certainly grown:) He is soooo cute, fluffly and ready for his family to return! How lucky they were to have you to watch over him!
Such beauties! I just spoke to my breeder and sent her an updated photo. It's like calling a special aunt and bragging out your baby!
Three is ALL I can afford! So, I jut keep telling myself about what a great life all these pups are having in SOMEONE ELSE's house! like Kim's! I got them off to a good start and had the privilege of passing them on--and they bring such pleasure to so many families--that is the reward and the reason for raising them.
Here is Coop today, all bathed and ready to go home tomorrow morning--he is now 16 pounds! And he WAS the second smallest of the litter!
How did you not keep them all?????
Man she is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
