Photo blog: Tessa and Eddie's first weeks

The breeder chose Eddie for us.  We asked her to watch him for awhile and choose his best friend-- we would take two puppies.  Here is Eddie giving his sister Tessa a little kiss at 6 weeks old.

Here is Tessa giving Eddie a kiss, too.  They were best buddies.

Tessa and Eddie's whole litter at about 5-6 weeks old. 

Tessa's first day home at 9 weeks.

Mommy's not used to such early mornings, but these guys are.  Checking out life in the back alley.  Who's coming by this morning?

At 10 weeks, potty training was progressing very well.  Tessa's giving Eddie a little help.  Or maybe sabotaging his efforts? ;)

By 12 weeks, they have synchronized sleeping down to an art.

awww, I so want another doodle myself, kash is only 7months old!  but I've been thinking about opening up a puppy fund to start saving for another one, i'm hooked . I loooved all your pictures  really the oe where they are laying with the paws up, daring. i'm also really jealous!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, everyone!  Yes, they are a handful, but so far definitely in a good way.  Two isn't exactly twice the amount of work, but definitely more work than just one.  We walk them separately and Tessa starts puppy school tonight, while Eddie will start at the weekend.  They are definitely developing totally different personalities, despite the identical sleeping positions!  ;)
