THE HOPELESS DOODLE ADDICT TROPHY ARRIVED IN CHICAGO!

The Hopeless Doodle Addict trophy arrived here in Chicago last Saturday, all the way from Nancy in So. Cal. I'm so honored to receive it! I promise to dedicate myself to becoming even more addicted to doodles and DK in the future, and to promote doodle addiction throughout ....What, Jack? You want to say "thank you" to the Doodle Kissers? Well, okay. That will give me time to catch up on a few things around the house. I'll be right back.

Jackdoodle here. And I want to tell you, I am not at all happy about this whole Doodle Addiction thing. I mean, this is ridiculous! There is something terribly wrong with you people! Look what's going on here! Dishes in the sink, laundry basket overflowing, while she sits here indulging this Doodle Addiction! And what about me? Ever since this started, she is too busy talking about me on the computer with you guys to even pay attention to me! You can't very well throw a ball while you're typing, now can you? I am being neglected and abused! Look what happened to my food since she became a Doodle Addict! She found out the yummy stuff I used to get was something called "crap", and took it away! Now she's in The Food Group all day talking about food that's "healthy"! No fair! Would she like it if I took away her potato chips and beer and made her eat "healthy" all the time?
An addict is not a good thing to be! The German Shepherd down the block said "addict" means "one who is physiologically or psychologically dependent on a habit-forming activity or substance"! In other words, a junkie! My GSD friend said most junkies get put in rehab! But instead, you guys give them a trophy! And presents! Ned's mom sent my mom a bunch of presents, all for sitting on the computer and ignoring me! When I ignore my mom, all I get is scolded! You people don't make sense!
I did get a gift too, though, which is only right after all I've put up with. Ned's daddy made me a beautiful bandana! I hear that Ned's mom is an addict, too, so Ned and his dad understand what I've had to go through here...
What, Mom? Yes, I'm still thanking the Doodle Kissers. I'll be done in a minute!
Gotta go. Thanks a lot for making my mom a Hopeless Doodle Addict, I hope you're all very pleased with yourselves.

Congratulations, Karen & Jack! Guinness and I want to thank you, Jack, for sharing your Mom with us. I hope it makes you feel better to know that she's helping Doodles everywhere by sharing all the things you've been teaching her. Guinness gets mad when I'm on the computer too long too...he stares at me looking pathetic. I keep telling him it's for his own good, but he's not buying that at all. He is sooooo happy that I learned about giving him real "people" food on DK though. So, we hope you and your Mom really enjoy this trophy and recognition. You deserve it.

OMG, this is totally hilarious. I wondered where all you hopeless doodle addicts were lurking. It's in the Food Group, huh. And this trophy seems to travel quite alot. I feel honored to just live in Illinois, where the trophy now resides with Junkie Karen and Hungry Jack. Green is a good color for both you guys!!

It takes one to know one!!! Jack looks so handsome in his bandana.
Dear Jack,
My oldest brother, Simon, has YOUR mom to thank for getting HIS food taken away - he use to eat the same stuff you did and he loved it. I would give my fuzzy ball ( well, Gordie's fuzzy ball, not mine) just to taste that wonderful stuff, but, Nooo, thanks to your mom and her addiction we all eat "healthy" now too. I guess that makes her pretty good though to help all of us. Thanks for sharing her.
I love you a lot,
Your Irish brother,
Ned

Congratulations Karen!!! Jack, if it makes you feel any better your mom loves you very much and she speaks very highly of you. She dedicates so much time helping us not yet Hopeless Doodle Addicts with keeping our doods happy, healthy and well fed. You should be proud of her. Jack you come so far and jumped many hurdles along the way with your Mom's support. You are one very handsome, special and much loved dood. Go easy on your mom and try to help out a little around the house. Enjoy all your presents. By the way, green is a very complimentary color for you both. Looks great with your eyes and hair!

The Oscars have no cachet compared to this. You both look very pleased despite Jack's protests. Methinks the doodle doth protest too much and he is really proud of you.

Jack,
You are so beautiful...errr... HANDSOME! You glow next to that trophy like you were meant to sit next to a golden globe or Academy Award! (perhaps you should get yourself an agent and try out for the next dog flick!).
Tell your mom Congrats. YES...you have to tell her. C'mon Jack...she deserves it even if you think HDA's are a little loony!
