Murphy and Guinness are sound asleep at my feet. They are exhausted. They played like crazy starting a little after 6:00 this morning, and then we took them for a nice long walk in the park. They were "begging for mercy" by the time we got home. Murph ate his lunch and then it was "nap time". I am amazed by Murphy. He did fantastic on his leash this morning....no pulling at all. I think it really helps when there is another dog to watch and "copy". It took a few weeks for Guinness to walk as well as Murphy did today. They seem to be totally "joined at the hip" already. I have to take them to potty separately, and Guinness does his business in minutes because he wants to get back inside with his brother. They play hard, but are respectful of each other. If either one of them has had enough they make that "yelpy bark" and the other backs right off. There's been no fighting over toys yet, although they want whatever the other one has. Guinness wants Murphy's "teddy bear" and Murphy wants the antler. Of course, Guinness would have that bear eaten in no time, so I keep taking it away and giving it back to Murphy. My favorite thing is when they're playing and I call them....they come running, falling over each other to see who can get to Mom first. Here are a few of the first pictures of the boys. I'm working on the little video that I should have out later...
