Holly is going to start a six week Therapy Dog Prep School on October Sixth. She has graduated from basic puppy obedience when she was seven months old and from a three week resident course (which she completed in two weeks) in July of this year when she was twenty months old. The resident course was designed to make Holly more comfortable around children and reduce or eliminate her fear of large dogs. It worked very well in both cases.
The Therapy Dog Prep School is designed to prepare students for potential future involvement with therapy dog volunteer opportunities.

We were very lucky to get the October spot. The Prep School is usually filled up for a year in advance.
Holly is also going to take her Canine Good Citizen Test on November 21st at a local obedience club.
I am considering agility training also but, I think that I will wait for Spring time for that one. I don't want to put too much on Holly's plate at one time.
