This week......

Mum still has a bad back which means dad had to help mum a lot.  He's done the shopping, the housework and even taken me for lots of walks. 

When dad comes back with lots of bags, its exciting to see whats in them, although he tells me off for being nosey, some of the things smell really yummy!!  I don't understand why when the bags are unpacked, dad then wraps the contents up in some shiney paper,its great fun with dad chasing me around trying to get the sticky roll back! He then puts the shiney objects around a tree - why is there a tree in my sitting room?  Mum tells me off when I try and break the branches off, and there are so many shiney and rattly things on it!

Last weekend, we met up with lots of my doddle friends at a local doodle meet.  Mum struggled to come along, but unfortunately couldn't finish the walk and had to wait in the car.  Poor mum, she was soooo looking forward to it.  But dad and I had a great time, other doodles are great to run around with, exploring everything.  After the walk we had some lovely liver cake, mmmmmmmmmm.

I hope mum gets better soon, she says she's going to ask Santa to make the pain go away...I do give her lots of cuddles and miss her taking me for walks.

Anyway, I would like to wish all my friends a very Happy Christmas and a very Happy & Healthy New Year.

Khia you are such a good girl for trying to help with those shopping bags!  Sometimes Dads just want to have all the fun of unpacking the stuff they bought.  You are being a great therapy dog for you Mum and that will surely make her feel better soon...I've always found kisses along with the snuggles really help to make my mommy laugh so maybe that will help your Mum too.

Aren't doodle romps the coolest?  Us doodles just know how to play!  I'm not sure about the liver cake though, I've never had that.

Khia it sounds like you and your dad are doing a very good job of taking care of your mom.  Santa Claus will for sure have put you both on his good list and I bet he brings you lots of toys and treats for Christmas.  Rooney and I hope that her back gets better really soon - you just keep giving her lots of cuddles - I'm sure that they help her.
