Trucker Dude!

Volunteered for some overtime with a Sunday run to Kennewick, Wa. from Portland. With a line rig ( three axle ) tractor/trailer. It was a very long day. Bought a small Costco bed, sorta a small oval deep set bed. Perfect for a seat of car/truck. I threw him up in the bed positioned in co-pilot seat of the big rig. His first time in the noisy and different riding vehicle. He shivered for the first few minutes, but settled down. It was a 10 hour run. We made one stop after 5 hours, he drained his water tanks and had a sip of water and went another 5 hours back to Portland. What a trooper!. During the trip he was like a yo-yo. He would sleep a short while, then get up and look out the window. I am sure it wasn't a restful trip for him, with all the strange noises and banging around. Good for him though! Wondering now if he will be so excited to want to go with me from now on? As he knows my routine, when I am getting ready to go somewhere and makes it quite evident he wants to go. We will see, what this trip does to his mojo and if he will continue to want to go with me!!

I bet he will want to go with you from now on. Sounds to me like he did just fine, and this was a new experience for him, and he did fine....Now he just needs a neat hat and shirt, and he can be a real trucker and be the talk of your routes...
