Two days and a wake up

Puppy. Puppy. Puppy! It seems to be the chant around here as the countdown continues. We're so nervous. We're so excited. We're just so.... SO! :-) What is he going to look like? Is he going to look just like his photo or is he going to be different somehow? Fluffier? More shaggy? What is he going to be like? Inquisitive? Or hesitant? Is he going to be happy with us? I hope we make him comfortable. I hope he has a good ride to his new home. I hope he loves us half as much as we already love him. I hope he's ready for cuddles and snuggles and playtime and sleepy time and potty time. I hope we have the patience to learn together. I hope we don't *ever* need to call Cesar Millan! :-) ARGH! I already can't sleep for thinking about Saturday! (And I know we're not going to sleep well for a while after he gets here either!) How are we going to make it through the next two days??

We leave for Staunton tomorrow (Friday) and pick up our new puppy on Saturday morning before the drive home! I'll try to upload pictures when I have to take a break from new puppy sweetness! ;-)

Try to relax. Everything will be fine. You are prepared. It is so exciting, I know. Try to KEEP VERY CALM when Atticus comes home. Then (hopefully) he will be calm also. Looking forward to your posts about Atticus.

Hi! I am picking mine up my goldendoodle Friday evening :) I can't wait!! 2 days from now I will be lovin on him and then driving 4 hours home! I was suppose to go on Saturday but didn't want to travel all day so I decideded to take friday afternoon off and make my drive!

I can tell how excited you are. AND I am exhausted for you, remembering everything involved with raising a puppy. I am sure he will be just perfect for you. Just remember to be patient, even though you love him with all your heart, THERE WILL BE DAYS................. He will grow up though, very fast, and you will wonder where the time went. Enjoy, and we will be waiting for pics.
