Update on Bella's cancer battle

It's been awhile since I've posted. We have been trying to enjoy each day to the fullest, as we know they are numbered. Bella's nodes are still enlarged despite changing drug protocols. They have actually gotten larger (in her neck) and this "doodle mum" is very scared. I am waiting to speak to the oncologist to decide what, if any, steps we can take next. The decision of more, possibly harsher drugs vs. quality of life over quantity is always very difficult. I guess I just ask for (and greatly appreciate) all your prayers and support as we continue down this dark road. God Bless you all and your sweet doodles! xxx

Cindy, I actually saw this foundation on Shari's page and thought more research dollars might be the best way to honor Bella and all of the dear dogs we've lost. I'm so sorry for your loss...three, it's just too sad.

Shari, since Cheryl bought this to my attention, I made a donation in memory of my three Golden Retrievers, Einstein, Ladybug and Rockette whom I lost to Cancer and to your Sweet Bella.  Let's pray and hope that someday our fur faced loved ones will never have to face this horrible disease again.  Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Cheryl, I am so glad you posted this...I have lost three Golden Retrievers to Cancer and I did not know about this foundation, thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Thank you Cheryl! That is so very generous of you and means the world to me. No animal deserves the awful "c word". I will continue to pray everyday for a cure as so many furbabies are battling each day and so many more added each day. I was completely unaware of this until we too were forced to battle it.
