On our yearly trek to Gilbert AZ we leave behind our beloved Fozzy Bear.  We found a wonderful family to watch him while we are gone.  I interviewed several dogsitters and fell jn love with this family once I saw the way Fozzy and and they reacted to one another.  They send me daily pix and updates on him.  He is having so much fun with them and their dog he may not want to come home.

Because I know he is in such good hands I havent felt the least amount of guilt about leaving him behind.  This morning I was driving to the store and I spotted tjis enormous beautiful doodle being walked down the road and bam it hit me like a brick wall.....guilt.  I tjinh the dm and dd must have thought I was some type of nut the way I was staring at their beautiful baby.  I was tempted to pull over and ask if I could play with their dog so I could get my doodle fix.  So maybe it isnt really guilt....maybe I am just in need of some doodle kisses!  But it is now a little more appealing to think about having to go home.....

ooohhh, do I know this feeling so well. That's what happens when you are thoroughly addicted.

But just so you don't feel bad, yesterday I was driving my car and pulled over at te sight of a doodle, rolled down the window and exclaimed to the owner how cute he was and gave him a pet - and my doodles were there in the back seat the whole time! Now that's NUTS! But what can I say, I'm Nuts for Doodles!!

Yes, Jennifer that makes it so much easier.  Now that I know our trip is over, I can't wait to get home and pick him up!

That's tough but you had the comfort of knowing he was having fun and not sitting in a kennel!

LOL Lisa!

I saw the same doodle walking across the lake at the park.....I actually wondered if I could get out of the pool and dressed fast enough to catch them before they left the park.   I almost feel like a stalker! hehehehe

We got back from MA last week and Phoebe was boarded at Animal Welness in MG.  She had a fabulous time and I watched her like a hawk on the webcam they provide. That said, the beach where we were staying allows dogs from Oct. 1st thru May 1st and there were so many doodles I could not believe it!  I felt so guilty and, yes, all the owners thought I was nuts asking if I could pet and/or play with their doodles.  I was surprised o one call the police!

Laurie - I was so worried about finding a sitter.  My usual sitter is pregnant and on due any day.  I was not happy with anyone I had been interviewing and was very worried.  The sitters I have now are such great people, I am sure we will become great friends!

Kaitlyn - You are so lucky!  I almost posted to see if any members lived in this area were interested in having company!! lol!
