Vern and Fudge at the Movies!

Last night the DH and I decided to watch a movie called "Best In Show". It is an old movie and sort of spoofs dog shows. Anyway, Vern and Fudge were laying on the bed with us and the first time they showed a dog on screen, Vern started barking his mean bark. Well, then Fudge joined in, but she quickly figured out it was Vern being silly and quit. Vern, on the other hand, watched the ENTIRE movie with us emitting low growls whenever a new dog came on the TV. There is a bloodhound in the movie and that particular dog not only got growls, but barks too. He never took his eyes off of the screen the whole movie and truthfully, he was more entertainment for both of us. He spends a lot of time on our bed looking into the dresser mirror, keeping an eye on the vicious dog he sees, but now he has to guard us from the TV too. Life is hard for a watchdog. Poor Vern!

No, I have never seen the little pug. I will have to look for that. Vern doesn't need any encouragement to get into trouble :)

Have you ever seen the email link that shows a little pug from the inside of your computer, licking the screen? The dogs will go crazy watching that too.

We can't even watch The Dog Whisperer with Cesar because our dog Malibu wants to jump on the screen. Try that and see how Vern likes it.
I love pointing out dogs on the tv to my girls and to see their reactions.

He growled today when they showed a rescue dog on "Ellen" for all of two minutes. He is a funny boy!

That is funny - makes me want to rent the movie to see if Shelby would take interest. She does enjoy it when I watch Dogs 101 or other Animal Planet shows.

My guys will bark at TV dogs too. It is funny to watch them watch TV.

Funny but this behavior on the part of Luca has seriously interfered with watching nature shows. I can hear Adina saying, "No you choose what programs to watch". But sometimes it's just too much effort.
