We Got to Meet Cheryl and Finnegan!

The other day I got a "friend request" from Cheryl which I of course accepted wondering what it was all about. Immediately I found out that she was going to be visiting family not too far from me and wondered if we could get together on such short notice.
Sunday afternoon we met at a park that was about half way between where she was visiting and where I live. Cheryl had googled parks and found this one which I had never been to. It was a beautiful park with nice hiking trails. We had a nice walk on a wooded trail and talked about doodles, photography and other things. We both took pictures. Here are some of mine.

It was a fun afternoon in a beautiful setting.  I really enjoyed meeting Cheryl and Finnegan and had a great time with her.  She and Finnegan are welcome back for a visit anytime.

I do everything possible to tie Spud to me to keep my hands free to photograph. What a joke.  I have 10,000 pics with camera shake to prove it.  For some reason, I keep taking him with me  :)

@Anne - we will do it again.  So many beautiful places.  I just love your photo of the bridge!  I left Finnegan's back pack behind so with one leashed doodle and his bag --it's a wonder I ever get a sharp shot LOL Someday I'll write a book…not how to photograph a doodle BUT how to photograph with a doodle :)  Tie the doodle to the bag JK. Joanne, you would LOVE meeting up with Anne, Otis, and Haley!  And I'm sure she would have a great time with you…just like we did!! Get those sandwiches ready, girl :)

@ Cheryl - Cheryl, Your pictures are great! I love the one of Haley and the one of Finnegan &Haley. Also the swamp and river pics with Laughing Gull and all of the rest. Poor Finnegan. Sorry he didn't like the ferry ride. I DO HOPE we get to do it again.
