We Got to Meet Cheryl and Finnegan!

The other day I got a "friend request" from Cheryl which I of course accepted wondering what it was all about. Immediately I found out that she was going to be visiting family not too far from me and wondered if we could get together on such short notice.
Sunday afternoon we met at a park that was about half way between where she was visiting and where I live. Cheryl had googled parks and found this one which I had never been to. It was a beautiful park with nice hiking trails. We had a nice walk on a wooded trail and talked about doodles, photography and other things. We both took pictures. Here are some of mine.

It was a fun afternoon in a beautiful setting.  I really enjoyed meeting Cheryl and Finnegan and had a great time with her.  She and Finnegan are welcome back for a visit anytime.

Yes, we finally got to meet Anne, Otis, and the Magnificent Haley!!  We enjoyed it so much! I have to tell you all that not only is Haley even more gorgeous in person, he is the gentlest, sweetest, guy -- and the biggest doodle I have ever met!  Truly a gentle fun giant!  I have admired Anne's photos for a long time so it was great to be able to meet her in the beautiful Virginia countryside, walking, talking, and shooting!  She gave me some good tips about my camera.  There are so many beautiful places in Virginia, and she and Otis are such terrific and interesting people that I hope we get to do it again.  Here are a couple of my shots (Karen) ...
