we have a jumper

[Mimi Linna, Lilly and Lolly]

Lilly will be five months old on Wednesday. Our 12 pounder has learned to jump on our laps be invitation. Today I walked in the living room and she was in my rocker recliner. I didn't say anything and walked out of the room.  She started crying. I walked back in and the chair was rockin' away. I think she tried to get down and her movement started the thing going. Poor thing couldn't figure out what to do. I picked her up and put her on the floor.

It reminded me of when I was a little girl about 5 and we drove from CA to TX to visit the Texas cousins. My mom dressed me in my church best.(I still can't figure out why she would dress me in a dress and maryjanes when we were going to the TX panhandle) I got there and the cousins were dressed like normal kids in their play clothes. The first thing we did was climb the chicken coop. They were more country raised and knew how to jump down and run off. Not this city girl from Sacramento, CA. I was sitting on the top of the thing and afraid to jump in with the chickens and chicken poop. My daddy had to come out and pick me up.

I knew how Lilly felt today.

Oh, poor sweet girl! I'm so glad you were there to help her down!  Funny that you had a similar experience as a child!!

Poor Lilly...  It is amazing how scared they can get...  Show Sophia a feather and she acts like it is going to kill her.  Not sure why she is afraid of them, but has been ever since we got her????

Awe...poor Miss Lilly.  Wonder if she will do that again?  Sorry, but I had to laugh at the imagine of you sitting on top of a chicken coop in a dress and maryjanes.
