11 things I've learned having two doodles.

After having two weeks off after dealing with health issues I've learned some new things I didn't realize having two doodles. they are so fickle but it makes me laugh, oh what joy and chaos they bring to my otherwise dull life! 

1. You may think that it is more like this when they're together.... but it's really like this....

2. it does not matter if you have two of the same toy sitting side by side, if one has a specific toy, the other wants that one and chaos commences.. let me repeat.. IT DOES NOT MATTER.

3. joint potty trips, hah, dont make me laugh.. it's a good idea as long as you want nothing to get done and have to take them out again in 10 min. 

4. did I mention sharing is literally impossible, did I?! oh Lord if you fill a Kong for both of them you better have the great wall of China separating them because suddenly the others is 10 million times more interesting than theirs and once again chaos is unleashed. 

5. if one decides to take part in a bad behavior then all of a sudden it's perfectly acceptable, they decide it's just fine if they act out, since of course their sibling did it. :)

6. resource guarding, Lord have mercy the resource guarding, God forbid one of them get a hair tie or sock in their mouth. you might as well be trying to take a t-bone steak away from them because it sure feels that way. 

7. double the food, I go through bags of food faster than I can blink an eye. I try so hard to order online but it always sneaks up on me and before I know it I'm scraping the bottom of the food container and I have to pay, dare I say it, $5 more from tractor supply!

8. Double the amazing, wonderful, fuzzy, doodle kissin', cute, sweet, loyal, prancing, playful, perfect, doodle love. I wouldn't trade either one of them for all the money in the world, and trust me I've been offered to sell them to people. I just give them a look everytime... like really. no way. 

9. think you can take double walks and not have an easy walk harness. haha. dont make me laugh (again) sure you can try and use a collar or a normal harness if you want if you like your arm to be sore or want it nearly yanked off everyday. be my guest. 

10. Lord, the cuddles, my goodness, THE CUDDLES. first thing in the morning every morning I am greeted with not one but two fuzzy bodies laying directly on mine, and two fuzzy faces kissing my face. I couldnt chose a better alarm clock. 

11. it's double the toys, grooming, feeding, playing, training, walking, everything but oh my goodness is it double the LOVE. I never thought I would consider dogs to be such a huge part of my life. they lighten my day and after the past two weeks I've had with all the terrible things going on in my life they bring such pure joy to me. I could never have asked for such a wonderful pair of dogs, they are night and day to one another but they constantly bring a smile to my face, they are my little furbabies and I love them as much as they love me. <3
