What Warms my Heart....

I don't know what is changing lately. Peri and Taquito have gotten along and loved each other almost as soon as Peri came home in June 2009. 

 

However, since we moved into the new house, they are bonding differently than usual.  They cuddle on the couches together!  They NEVER did this when we lived in the condo.  We come home from work - up the stairs from the garage (so they hear us coming with the garage door opening) and into the playroom/office where they stay during the day and there they are!  Just snuggling on the couch together. Some days they are on the big couch cushions. Some days, like yesterday, they are on the top of the back cushions so they can see out through the windows better. Last night they were cuddled up together and just looked at me like "oh, hey...you're home!".  I wanted to get a photo, but of course, they do end up stretching and getting up to greet me.

 

What's going on?  They cuddle all the time now.  Very sweet. 

 

Here is a photo of them in the den (not playroom where they stay when we are not home).  I was cooking and found them just chillin' out together.  So odd....I am happy they love each other, it really warms my heart!  I just never thought they would be so attached.

We think it is there first home together.  B4 it was Taq's pad.  Now it is a home for them together.  Home Sweet Home.

Peri and Taquito just look Great together - perhaps they finally realized what a stunning pair they are! Or perhaps, they really, really love their new home.  I think it is so sweet to find them snuggling.

I bet you that everything was so different with the move, that they bonded more with each other because it was familiar. Or maybe I am copying everyone's answers...LOL!

Aw, that is just precious. Perhaps comforting each other during the move has brought them closer.

That is great! Mine do that on the back of the couch otherwise they have their own spots, Sometimes in bed they are cuddled up, Myla did this this week during a thunderstorm and Chloe must have been tired enough to accept it. They are in their home now and feel "complete"

Little snuggle puppies!!!!  So cute and it gives me hope for my guys.  Maybe this just comes with age.

Maybe they were a little discombobulated by the move and found comfort in each other. Anyway it's nice. Luca has started getting up on the back of the sofa and chair cushions,. I don't think it 's for the view, he just likes it.
