My mom has been complaining for ages now about our lousy summer. She was very happy today the temperature finally reached 80 degrees. I don't think I like it much. We went for a walk and had to stop half way for me to cool off a little in the lake. I liked that part, but what I really liked was getting to play in my new pool when we got home. It was really fun trying to get that silly ball from the bottom of the pool. The ball had a hole in it and sank to the bottom. I don't mind putting my nose in the water but I didn't want to dunk all of my head. The only pool my mom could find was a bright green blow up one. Mom made me wear boots, she called them water socks. She said they were to keep me from putting holes in my new pool. They worked great in the pool but not so much when I got out to run around the yard. I love my new pool and I hope I get to use it every day. My mom says it's the best $10 she ever spent. I'd really like to have some friends over for a pool party, now that would be lots of fun. Gotta go now I'm tired and I need to go to sleep. Later Doods, Quincy.

86 degrees today, I love it, Quincy not so much. Quincy and DH are both flaked out and having a nap. To heck with that I'm going outside.

Quincy, are you for real? 80 is heat? Dood, you better not come to NJ. Today was in the 80's and we thought it was delightfully cool. We have a pool, too but our Mom is so lazy she doesn't fill it cause she doesn't want to deal with wet doodles. But she does let us play with the sprinkler. Luca and Calla

Quicny, I love the pictures of you and your new pool. I had (yes had) a blue plastic pool but it was from last year and it had a couple of cracks in it which my mom tried to duck tape but then I got a bored streak and decided to chew a few good size pieces off of it so now she has to buy me a new one. Maybe this weekend paws crossed.....Have fun cooling off in your new pool. Cool boots too!!!!
