Why Can't They Just Let Sleeping Doodles Lie?

OMD!  Why is it that when poor Tori lays down to rest or sleep, everyone needs to go over to her and disturb her!  No matter what, "someone" will pass the poor girl and poke or prod her.  They'll start petting her, lifting her ears, whispering sweet NOTHINGS in her ears!  Yes!  She IS cute while she's sleeping (of course she's cute when she's a wake too), but WHY do 'they' feel the need to have to tell her that while she is sleeping?!  'They' think it's hysterical how 'they' can lift up her paws or head while she's resting and she just let's them and doesn't move.  She just lets them lift, poke, prod, etc!  Haven't 'they' ever heard of "letting a sleeping baby sleep"?  JEEZ!   I can't even begin to find out what 'they' would do if 'someone' did that to them.  "Someone" may just try it one day!

LOL.... I usually take out the camera but my sons (AND DH) constantly lift and prod her!  

Carol- it's always ok for MOM to do that... "we" do that in a loving manner!  The boys - at ah - not so lovingly!  LOL - DH complains that she sleeps too much!  He misses all the running around and rough housing when he's at work! :O)

Funny, I have thought about exactly the same thing.  I keep repeating 'leave Riley alone he's sleeping'!!!! They do look adorable when they are asleep you've just got to stop yourself and others touching.  I think look but don't touch should be the mantra from now on.

What a good doodle mom you are Shelly!   Poor Tori......ummmmm.....and poor Banjo......I'm VERY guilty of this selfish behavior!    I find myself unable to walk by Banjo without giving him a little pat when he's asleep...he does look so cute and snuggly!    I will try to be better!!!!
