Hi Anna,
I've just had some time to have fun with Doodle kisses again and ran across your post about Achilles peeing on the Christmas tree. I laughed so hard and it reminded me of one of my older dogs named Puma who was a short cocker spaniel. One year while living in an apt. about 18 years ago, we had a real tree. After 2 weeks after Christmas, my mom and I took the tree down, and under it was a white blanket wrapped around the base of the tree. Well, low and behold it was yellow. The darn dog was using it as his pee spot for those 2 weeks. Oh my gosh, what a smell it was. He was probably so happy thinking that mom brought in a tree for me to use, how thoughtful of her! I think Achilles was doing what came perfectly natural to him. sorry, but that brought back memories. I hope you are feeling better and your health issues get sorted out. Eva
Daisy was the easiest dog in the world to potty train, seriously I think it took maybe 5 or 6 weeks, never peed in the house since. My daughter and family were over for Christmas with her 15 month old boxer and her and Daisy played ALL day, they had many potty breaks....then right out of the blue Lilly pooped in the middle of the floor and about 1 hour later Daisy squatted and peed, right in front of everyone. Thank you steam machine.
I think all the excitement and fun distracted the both of them. All is well and normal now but that was a shock.
Electrical fire, I hadn't even thought of that. Wow I am lucky!
Suzann that is too funny!
Denise you are probably right about the Christmas wish lol
That is so funny and kind of cute too!! Well...maybe not...(smile)
Not so sure why it happened...but he must have thought...What Is That Tree Doing In The House??!! Lol...
Achilles!!! You were just letting Santadoodle know where to find you right?? You wouldn't want your presents left outside!!
Anna just glad there was not an electrical fire!!
Ha! Welly did the same thing but even worse - it was my Bosses tree- in her home, at our Christmas lunch!
It was totally my fault as I went straight in without seeing if he needed to pee first as he hadn't been outside since our walk several
hours before the lunch. Poor Welly - you need a pee and luckily there's a
tree - but then everyone starts yelling at you! Poor boy - he completely
understands Achilles....
