- About Me:
- We are empty-nesters (until Josie arrived at the end of June (2013). We have two grown daughters, 27 and 30, both in serious relationships, but no engagements yet (update - one engagement :) (Update again - one married)...so we got a puppy! I work full time as an Executive Director in an affordable housing apt building for seniors.
Josie has been coming to work with me every day, since she arrived, and I hope to have her certified as a Therapy Dog at some point. She got her CGC at 10 months and she is eerily intelligent and extremely athletic! She's been socialized to the max and my residents are crazy about her, as are we!
She's definitely a bit challenging at times, but totally worth the effort of training her and staying on top of her huge personality:) As she gets older, she is calming down and has gotten MUCH easier.
Josie is our second dog. We had a Wheaten Terrier for 15 and a half years who we adored, but Josie is different in every way. She's so affectionate and entertaining.

- Josie is my walking companion. We also take her to the beach. She loves swimming, playing with other dogs and children. We also love playing with her, especially in our fenced in yard. In the fall, we take her hiking. We have also discovered that she loves to play in the snow and even in the rain.
We've also discovered lots of area restaurants with outdoor seating!

- Bully sticks and antlers. Josie loves a good, long lasting chew.. She loves to chase and bring back pretty much anything. The Activet green brush is a lifesaver.
