Auggie's first swim

I was going to take them this afternoon, but Auggie's tummy is not well for some reason. Will have to go next week. But I did take them to a dog park that has a pond a week after this swim lesson and he did great. Even without the life vest. Oh, and the swims here are not free. You pay more for the intro lesson, but the subsequent swims are a bit cheaper. I would love to be in the water with them, though.

I hope Laila does this well on Saturday.  I think it does help to have a good model.

Isn't it great how quickly they learn to use ramps and stairs?  Have you taken then back for free swimming?

So funny that our young doodles make so much "splash" when they swim.  I posted a very short one just this morning showing how ungraceful my dog is in the water.  LOL

Good job, Auggie!  

Luna is for SURE a water dog but hasn't mastered getting in/out of the pool.  She would love a ramp like that!

Bailey loves the water.. she's definitely a swimmer.. Looks like you have two of them LOL
