Frog Leg Couch Stretch

It is so funny that all of these doodles have so many similar little quirks! I love it! Anyway, When Piper gets off the couch, he pauses when his front feet are on the floor, and stretches out his back legs (froggie style) for about 15 seconds. It is so funny! He either stretches, or just hangs out there to sniff something on the coffee table, or who knows why. Someday I WILL get a picture. It makes me laugh every time!

OMG, this is funny!!!! Samson does the SAME thing!!! He has his front feet on the floor, his back legs stretched out on the couch, he can stay like that a long time! His tail is also straight up in the air!!! Sooo funny!

Lucy too ..... sometimes she will stand that way and watch TV! I don't think I've ever seen Sophie do it though. However, Sophie stretches constantly. Everytime she has to go potty when you walk towards her with the collar and leash it is like, "Hold on a second, I gotta stretch". Then as soon as she is finished she comes over to get her collar on.

Our male, Griff, does the thing with the front legs on the floor then he lays his head on the coffee table and goes to sleep. Its weird and funny.

My goodness!! All my guys to this too. We were visiting a friend with a pool. After an afternoon of hard playing and swimming, Logie and Branna would sit on the side of the pool with their front paws on the second step in the water. Each would lift up their hind end stretching their back, tail straight up and then push off into the water. I wish I had taken pictures. Silly doodles!!

Callie does this too! I find it very odd but of course adorable (I find most of her non-house-destructive behaviors adorable). It doesn't look very comfy to me, but I guess it's a matter of perspective!

Mazie does EXACTLY the same thing! We call her Yoga-doggie and claim that she does Pilates.
