hi im wondering can anyone help me .. we are having to bath sooty every second day cause he has poo hanging off the end of his butt?? i know your not supposed to wash them alot because of their hair.. but has anyone any other suggestions of what to do about this??
I'm dying from laughing at this thread. A few weeks ago Dexter got a ton of dingleberries stuck in his butt hair and we could not get them out with water/baby wipes. We (or I should say my husband) had to cut them out. It was super gross!!
Oh you're so lucky. My DH runs in the opposite direction...he has no stomach for dingle berries. Hmmm, come to think of it he had the same reaction to the kids' poopy diapers. He makes all kinds of gagging noises and quickly leaves the room. Good thing wiping Guinness's butt doesn't bother me or we'd be in trouble. LOL
Jane, Did you see the movie "Four Christmases?" Your post reminded me of it. When the baby "spits up". Boyfriend leaves the room gagging!!! Obviously it's not so rare! Was funny in the movie. Probably not so funny to be left with all the poop!
thats so funny leslie.. the last time sooty got them.. we gave him a bath and they didnt come out so we had to pull them out with a towel.. i held his front of his body while my boyfriend held him in a hand stand and pulled them out ... it was discusting but funny when u think about all the trouble it was !!!
This is so funny - love how everyone gets so up and close and personal! LOL Nancy - she may need her anal glands expressed. Tori gets "that smell" too. Here I go.... Is the smell kinda' fishy smelling or poopy smelling?? If its fishy - it's probably her anal glands. Sometimes Tori even "leaks" some out, and the couple of times that happened, she was on our couch! Needless to say I grabbed wipes and soaked the couch - sprayed Febreeze, you name it. Then wiped her butt with wipes because it lingers on her hair there.
Our 3 dogs eat EVO and once they really settled in with it their poop became so firm there would NEVER dare to be a dingleberry. It is pretty amazing. I think EVO is pretty pricey and I keep thinking I need to go down a notch on the expense, then I read something like this and - well, I just use the babywipes on faces.
