Play or lay in any water they come across?

Hunter is a total water FREAK! If there is water she is trying to figure out a way to play in it, lay in it, splash or jump in! Case in point my picture - laying in the ONLY puddle on the entire playground! Her favorite is beach swimming or jumping off a dock after a ball or whatever she wants to chase. Are any others this crazy about water?

and I, living in FLORIDA, can't even get mine to touch his paw in the water! You'd think I was asking him to dive into a vat of acid. The one time I carried him into the pond at a doodle romp, he charged toward the shore like a motorboat, as if he were a drowning man! And his little heart was beating a mile a minute. MIchael Phelps he's not LOL

How funny!! I wonder why some of them are so completely opposite when it comes to water?!

Yes, my goldendoodle, Groucho Too, is a water fiend. When we are out walking or biking, he walks through (or drinks) out of every puddle we come to. He can't resist water. And the beach! He really would love to surf and is trying to get out to the surfers or run into the water with them. If I don't want him in the water, I have to keep him on leash at the beach. My other doodle is off leash as he is not fascinated by water. I feel guilty but if I don't have time to give him a total bath and blow dry, I have to keep him on leash. One time, he ran circles around me on a 25-ft. leash like I was training a horse. It was kinda funny and luckily it was a quiet day at the beach.

oh yes, Tyson loves water. Whenever he sees water (but especially a lake, river, ocean, stream, other large-ish body of water) he starts wimpering and pulling until I let him get in. And then he wants me to start throwing things in there for him to fetch.
