the other day I had Oliver groomed and everything was fine. The next morning I noticed that he was scratching quite a bit, so I looked and could not see any problem, no fleas, ticks, etc. His skin looked just fine. So I called the groomer and asked what she had used on him to bathe him. She told me she used the usual shampoo that she always does on him, an oatmeal shampoo...Ok, so the next day I notice that he is chewing his paws and legs much of the time. I took him over to the vet and she looked and said there wasn't anything to really see except where he had been chewing it was getting red and raw...She gace me a medication called Temeril, it is supposed to be an antihistimine with a little bit of steroid in it. Well he is taking it fine, and of course he wants more water, they told me he would, and I remember with other dogs I have had. they need more to drink with these kind of meds...We have been walking him much more of course, and today he has had 3 accidents in the house...He has not peed in the house in about 3 mos. He usually goes to the back door and stares at me to go out, so we have been watching him extra careful. But he has peed in my bedroom, the kitchen and the hall!!!!...Any suggestions? I hate to crate him, he is crated at bedtime, and until this med we have had no problem...I don't want to yell at him either, but this is not a little spot peeing, this is a 67 lb dog peeing...Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...He has to be on this med for around a week, decreasing amounts as we go along...But the problem is now...Thanks guys....Cheryl
