Does your doodle like to show visitors their toy's & bones?

Does anyone's Doodles like to get a toy or a bone whenever someone comes over and try to show it to them or give it to them?  Everytime someone comes over Hunter immediately gets a bone or a toy and tries to show it to them ~ she doesn't want them to take it or throw it she just tries to show them while she is greeting them! It is so funny!

Yes - and now he's convinced his brother the Bassett/Rottie mix that he needs to do it, too. When they can't find anything they go and get my kitchen hand towel off the counter and trot around with that in their mouths.

Yep, ours do this too! They just get so excited when someone comes to the door. But they try to "out do" one another. Whatever Morgan gets, Maddie will try to get something bigger. And if that doesn't work, she gets 3 or 4 in her mouth at the same time!! Yesterday when I came home, she had 2 stuffed animals, one of their bandanas, and one of the place mats off the kitchen table!!

Wow! I just thought it was something peculiar that my puppy does... She doesn't always get a toy, but she growls/barks at my husband and son while wiggling and circling, every time they come home. She's still shy with guests, but I'm sure she'll do it to them too.

Oh yeah! Penny will bring over a toy or bone and stand in front of the guest. She shakes her head a couple of times as if to say, "Look at ME! I'm quite the hunter." Then she gets that hang dog look and drops it at their feet.

Yes! We started giving her a toy when people came to the door when she was a puppy. We found she wouldn't jump up on them when she had a toy in her mouth. Now she runs to get a toy whenever anyone comes in.

YES!!!! My Hazel runs frantic around the house trying to find the perfect stuffed animal to prance around with for our guests or us. She often walks around with a stuffed animal lodged in her mouth....she's very oral I guess.

YES!! Dexter goes and grabs his bone and runs around like a nut when 1) we come home from work or 2) whenever we have a visitor. He wants us (or the visitor) to chase him. Silly doodle.
