Funny Things Doodles Do

I saw on the site that someone writing about quirky things that their doodle does. I tried to join in the discussion but I wan't a member of that group so I thought I'd start another b/c this seemed like it could be funny. Sonny does so many little quirky things but the funniest thing he does is rest or sleep with a tennis ball in his mouth. He just kind of lays there with it inside his mouth. One of these days when I upload my new photos I will post a pic.

Roxy does this too, so funny the ball is out to the side at the most akward angle but she does not drop it!!!!

How funny. I've never seen mine do this. By any chance are your dogs from the same breeder? Toby and his siblings (from Almond Blossom Doodles) share a lot of quirky/funny personality traits and habits.

Sonny is from a local breeder on LI. Wish some of his sibling were on here. I think we all just have silly doodles!

hi i am new here i have a black 5 month old goldie doddle she is so funny at times she is 32 pounds and she thinks she can sit on your belly like a little dog

Hi. Welcome to DK. Sonny is close to 70lbs and he still thinks he can curl up on my lap like a lap dog. Honestly.. I love it!

Maci loves to play ball or play with any little toy she can find. She loves to grab a small soft toy and toss it in the air and then catch it again. This can go on and on, her playing catch with herself!!

One of Maddies' crazy quirks is stealing the brush for cleaning the toilet bowl. We have to keep the bathroom doors closed tight or she will steal them every time. I can't count the number of times we have come home to find the toilet bowl brush in the middle of the living room floor (which is where she takes everything that she knows she's not supposed to have!) She doesn't chew on them, she just loves to parade around with them in her mouth - Its very embarrassing if we have company over! But the worst was the other morning when she woke me up with it in her mouth, standing over top of me in the bed at 4:30 AM. My husband said, "Maybe she thought you needed to brush your teeth".....Ewwwwww!

lol... that is hysterical!. Now if she could learn to clean with that toilet bowl scrubber, that would be great!

Neely comes up from behind us if he is wanting to play and pokes us right in the butt. A BIG GOOSE! He also flops and sighs if he is bored and not getting any attention, it is usually up on the couch and he lays his head on the arm with his eyes darting back and forth to see if we're gonna pay any attention to him. He runs out to meet the papergirl and the postman everyday! He barks at them like he would eat them if he could then runs up to see them then runs to get a toy and then brings it to them to say hi with! He also sits in the middle of our driveway where he can see the sidewalk and barks at the people and dogs going by scaring everyone because he has an electric fence that he won't cross but they don't always know that. He wags his tail hoping that they come in to say hi! Right now he is carrying his kong around behind my son as he bought some kong filler two days ago and Neely seems to know that he bought it and he is trying to get him to fill it up again. I said only once aday incase it gives him the poops. He also comes up to people and if he likes them and us he will turn around and put his butt towards us for a scratch, then he'll look back at us if we\re not getting it!
