I'm so disgusted right now. I noticed a tick on the floor (this was only the second one I've seen all Summer), and I ran to get a tissue to pick it up. In the meantime, Murphy ATE it. I have all these visions of this nasty creature "latching on" somewhere in his digestive track. I can't even imagine it. It was so small, I didn't even think he saw it, but he certainly did. Should I be worried....or just "grossed out".
You're saying "gross"...Murphy is saying "best day ever"! I can't imagine a tick living through the digestion process...they just aren't built for that!
I agree... digestive acids will take care of the tick! Gross is right.... Shelby likes to eat all sorts of insects - this months favorite - June bugs! I am beginning to think I can cancel my pest control guy because she plays with and eats every spider she sees! :o) It is gross, but fun to watch!
Ewwwww Murphy me Boy...That is not something for an Irish Boy to be doing!!! I bet Guinness is keeping his distance from you. I'm sure you will be just fine but ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Oh so gross for you, a tick is bad enough Jane but, Lynne a cicada double Yuck!!! Thank goodness we don't have that problem. Murphy should be ok I also think his stomach acids should take care of it.
Murphy certainly has a discerning palate. I had a dog that deliberately chased, slobbered on so they fell, and then ate flies.
ewwwwwie - dogs. One minute you are letting them lick your face and the next minute they eat a tick! Makes you feel sooooo.. special.
