Passing the Torch--er I mean Hopeless Doodle Addict Trophy

In beautiful downtown Ridgewood, NJ, at the Duck Pond, another chapter in DK history was written. The previous recipient, Marianne, along with her DH,   Zoey, and Ozzy brought the trophy and a great assortment of gifts. Along with a mug , tee shirt, salt water taffy, and a small picture frame were several toys for the dogs, including the beloved tennis balls. The HDA  journal was included as well. Marianne's doodles are a Mutt and Jeff  team and both of them are beautiful. Calla , Luca and I were  thrilled and overwhelmed with all the goings on and presents. The dogs were all so excited and happy we may never be allowed at the Duck Pond again. Surely you heard the barking wherever you live. We now get to savor the trophy for a short while before sending it on to the next HDA. Unfortunately a hand delivery won't be possible. I think it was a new precedent that the trophy was passed between two residents of the same state, NJ rocks! Now despite my fame I need to mow the lawn before it rains.
