Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I recently retired from teaching and had a party this weekend to celebrate. My sister-in-law ordered a cake for me from Confetti cakes in NYC which is featured now and then on Food Network. This lady has so much talent! She asked me for ideas about what I wanted on the cake and you can see how she included all my interests as well as my doodles! Her dad has a doodle, so she has a good model.I kept all the sugar sculptures and then cut up the yummy chocolate cake underneath for my guests. I guess the sculptures keep pretty well, so I will figure out a way to display them--they are too cute to eat!

Congrats on your retirement, and that cake is amazing!
Wow that is incredible! It just amazes me how realistic these cake makers can do with sugar and fondant. They make it look so easy.
Congratulations. More time for DK, hey no DK on that fabulous looking cake. Enjoy your retirement.
Amazing! And congrats on your retirement!
That is just adorable!
Okay, Camilla... I think you can do this!!
Ha ha. The cake probably, the sculptures... not so sure! They are great. The fur looks so real!
Wow! She did a great job!! Enjoy your retirement!!
The cake is awesome! Congratulations on your retirement! :-)
Thanks, everyone! I make teddy bears, so that explains the bear sculpture and Steve is my husband. The names of my three kids are on the other side.
