Thank you everyone for your calendar photo submissions. Let's just say that the job will be NO easier this year. I'm very serious. There enough GOOD photos for several calendars. We will make an attempt to show variety in doodles and pick what we think is best even when several other photos seem equally 'best'.
Historically we've had calendars ready at the end of October so I won't promise anything sooner than that. Members whose photos made it into the calendar will be notified shortly before the calendars are complete and ready for sale.
And as always 25% of proceeds will be shared with doodle and dog rescue.
Thanks to you and to Clark for all of your hard work...once again! I am sure you were flooded with entries and I would not want to have your job of having to choose just a few out of all the good ones. Can't wait to see the new calendars.
The Stress Is Over. Whew! Now we have something to look forward to in the next month.
At the last moment I did not submit any photos and I don't think I ever intended to enter ( wishful thinking) but I must say it was A LOT of fun trying and a great learning experience. The doodles and I were able to get out and enjoy some places we would never thought of going just because we were trying to take pictures. How fun is that? :)
Thanks to all that gave their time to those of us who are novice in the Photography Group. One day, with confidence and your inspirations, I'll capture that picture--because I know how to and not by chance because of your contributions.
Adina, you know you are secretly relieved to have 2 fewer beautiful doodles to sort through. But you'd better submit next year Joanne, or we'll do it for you!
Over 500...possibly 600 (I can't say for sure as I weeded out the poor quality ones as they came in and kept the decent ones). So...counting what I have kept for consideration and what I haven't yet looked at (about 140) there are over 500 I have to go through again and again and again until it's under 100.
