He is not a doodle but please keep Sherlock in your thoughts

Today Sherlock, one of our 10 year old Beagles, had to have a bad tooth removed.  In the middle of the surgery the vet called to say he found a suspicious spot in the back of his mouth by his tonsil.  The C word was mentioned.  The biopsy has been sent off to the University of Georgia vet school.  It will be 5 to 10 days before we know the results.  Please send pawsitive thoughts and energy his way.

Sherlock was home with us last night, but he was still really drowsy. He is up and about today and ate a bit of soft food this morning. I think he is enjoying being pampered with boiled chicken and rice with broth added to his regular food.
