IS YOUR DOODLE NAKED?

Most of you know that Guinness and Murphy REFUSE to wear “clothes” of any kind and are members of the Naked Doodles Club.  They have agreed that in order to help Midnight get his new hips for XMAS they will proudly wear a DRC bandanna!   How about your Doodles, will they join Guinness and Murph?

Frannie Spector (www.iceboxonline.com) has generously donated 150 bandannas to help Midnight get his XMAS wish!  If your Doodle wants to “sport” one and help Midnight at the same time, you can purchase a bandanna for $7.00 (which includes the shipping
and handling cost).  If we sell all 150 bandannas, we should be able to add almost $750 to the Midnight’s fund.  

All you have to do is go to the “Chip In” tab (http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/midnight-needs-new-hips-for) and donate $7.00.   Just purchase through Paypal , type “bandanna” in the notes section, and your Doodle’s DRC bandanna will be on it’s way to you.

Nina Whitefield (www.doggiebgoode.com/index.html) has agreed to do all the shipping and handling for us.  We are so grateful to both Frannie and Nina for their overwhelming commitment and support.  Here’s a picture of Frannie and Nina with the coveted Hopeless Doodle Addict trophy and the DRC bandanna.  You absolutely MUST have one of these for your Doodle, right?

As you receive your bandannas, we’d love it if you could post a picture of your Doodle wearing it.  You can post it right in this discussion.  After a few weeks, when we’re pretty sure everyone has received their DRC bandanna we’ll put together a collage (or a few collages) of all our “no longer naked” Doodles.  I think this could be really fun for all of us, and I know that it will help us to get Midnight his “XMAS hips”.

Also - a special thank you to Pam Scott at Bandanna Promotions in Greenville, SC. Pam not only offered me the 5000 piece price for an order of just 144 bandannas, she also also turned them super fast for me, and gave us the 20-ish over runs at no charge. The Icebox regularly does business with Bandanna Promotions but in no way did Pam have to put herself out and babysit this order start to finish. She's a true partner to us and like she said "hey, we like dogs too!".

Humm, I just went to "Chip In", selected by 7.00 and there was no place to make the note "Bandana". So the next step was my Pay Pal account. Signed in...no place for a note. Selected "Pay Now" and it paid now but never was there a Notes area to type in Bandana. Now what? No biggie since it is all about Midnight but Gracie Doodle would have been proud to wear the bandana.

With PayPal when the screen comes up that shows your shipping address, right underneath is a place you can check for "notes to seller". That's where you'd put "Bandanna". No worries, Nancie....we'll get Miss Gracie her bandanna....and THANK YOU!

I had the same problem but I paid by credit card and was not given the option of "notes to seller". Can Clifford still get a bandanna? I'm shocked he is willing to wear it since he is so proud to be a bare naked doodle.

Kim, I paid by credit card and the option is there. It's at the end, in the same place where you'd enclose a "card" for a gift recipient.
Of course Clifford will get his bandanna. I'll go mark the order myself.
