Snow Already?!

Today, we just got our first taste of snow in good ol' Minnesota.  As I walked Albus outside this morning to do his business -- half-asleep at 6:30, mind you -- he gets a sudden burst of the zoomies and proceeded to almost yank my arm out of its socket.  I wish I had a video of it, it was so darn cute!

After that ordeal, he just came inside to rest...

Also, whenever there's a layer of fresh snow on our deck, sometimes he'll get the zoomies on it.  Or he gets confused and pees right on the deck, LOL :)

Do your doodles do anything funny when snow first starts falling?

A good down-stay and a big towel is what we use to combat snow-coat :)

We like to put him in the tub and wet him down with warm water. The snow balls completely melt away and he dries a lot quicker...

I know someone who sprays her dog's legs with Pam so the snow doesn't stick.... LOL.

LOL. My Mom used to spray our car doors with Pam so they wouldn't stick. It worked... but I never thought to do that to Allie (LOL)

Charlie would chase it, and tries to catch/lick the snow flakes....
But it's toooooo early to talk about snow!!!! I'm not ready.......!!

I wish we had snow! I would love to see Ollie play in it. My girls always say they wished they could play in it too. We would have to drive 3 hours to Tahoe to find snow.

My dachshund gets really agitated when it snows, and she'll refuse to go out. I think it's because she doesn't like the feeling of snow when she walks through it because her belly drags in it! She'll get confused and poo right on the driveway, too. During the last snow here in NC, I had driven my car on the driveway and made tire tracks, so Reba walked only in the tire tracks and didn't go anywhere else!!

 

Sunny, the doodle, loves the snow. She sticks her face in it and gets the zoomies and everything.
