Where does your Doodle go for "alone time" ?

Daisy goes into our closet every morning after breakfast and her morning jog to get away from it all.

DH and I go about our busy morning while she sleeps in there, probably because it's dark and out of the way.

Yesterday I must have inadvertently dropped a sweater when I went in for my clothes. When I went in there later to "gently" wake her up to leave for work this is what I found. She must have been this way for at least a half hour.

I had to sneak back out to get my camera, here are the results. ha ha

Duke sat behind me and whined as he wanted under there too, finally he went in the laundry room and laid down. (Another favorite spot for Duke.)

My girls like it under the desk as well, unfortunately there isn't this much room under mine. It only becomes a problem when we have a foster, and then it is Lucy's favorite place from which to protect me. She goes under there and then if the foster comes near me she sits their and growls or lunges and growls ..... not good when I'm in between.

Geez, my dogs will never be as loyal to me as your dogs are to you, Sheri. All of my fosters follow me everywhere. Not Sheba and Duke. Be careful, you've already had a black eye, just remind Lucy that you'd like to keep your leg in one piece!

When Annabelle leaves next week, (Truman is being fostered by Kim now) I won't have a foster. Duke will be happy that he will be able to share the spot under the desk again with Sheba. When Ralph was here there wasn't much room for another dog to fit under the desk, he was a big boy. I have to say this is the favorite spot for my dogs and the foster dogs too.

Hmmm, if it's so special maybe I should climb under there and try a little nap!

Ha Ha! You're right! I don't know how many times I've complained to my husband that I couldn't get my chair up to the desk! Sheba is really bad about having her tail close to the wheels on the chair, and sometimes her head, too. I try to be careful but sometimes I roll over the hair on her tail, it startles her and she'll jump up and there will be a little tuft of hair laying on the floor. Ouch!

Sheba and Annabelle are under the desk now. My feet were cold so I stuck them under Annabelle to warm them!

Ahhhhhhh...that is just toooo cute! Once in rare while Trav will go into a different room and nap, but he's usually within 10 ft. or so of wherever I am. This is especially cute when I'm crouched down, like cleaning under the sink or looking under the bed. There's a brown muzzle right beside my face, as he just can't help but wonder what's going on. However unlikely, any activity might involve a treat or a squirrel.

This is so cute! Darwin's out of the way place is the kitchen floor. There isn't a whole lot of private space when you live in a one bedroom apartment, but the kitchen isn't visible from the living room so that is where he goes. He just naps on the cool tile...
