Well we have a 1 week + 1 day count down for Christmas. How will your Doodle make out under the tree.

We have Daisy, and 2 Grand Dogs, Sophie and Lily, and a Grand Kitty Charlie Bean. There are plenty of gifts under the tree for all - but wondering "is this over the top silly or what?".

What constitutes over indulgence for a pet?

We have  purchased a few stuffies on sale in the past couple of months - they are in a bag in the guest bathroom bathtub (don't see whey this space can't be used for something, it also hides extra TP and Paper towel). I also purchased antlers for each of the dogs, some chuck it balls & and a new scratch post for Charle Bean the cat.

I'm done, I think, well maybe, somehow I am sure something else will make it's way into the tub.

My guys are getting new antlers for Christmas.

I think I am  going to make Charlie and Butter their new blanket. I thought about getting them each a bed, but Butter is so picky, and he may not sleep on it. He likes the fleece blancket, so I am going to make them for them.

Charlie is not getting any toys since she got so many of them..... I will cook them some special dinner....

Lucky doodles. Please post the blankets in the DIY Group since they are sure to be lovely.

I want the talent to sew, should have paid attention in the sewing portion of Home Ec.

You can make a really cute fleece balnker with no sewing at all. You buy two squares of fleece, one print and a coordinating solid. Then pin the squares together and cut "fringe" all the way around all the sides, about 3" deep. Then you knot every two pieces of fringe together, and voila, a blanket! I'll have to post a photo, hang on!

Natalie has this type of blanket...she got it in the hospital from someone (don't know who they never left a note!)  Very cozy.  Although now it is TWO blankets because I took it apart prior to washing it.

I have actually made these before but it's been years - I really like this one and it's material. When my Dad passed away a year and a half ago one returned to me, he used it everyday for the past 5 years in his recliner, my daughter actually made it. What a wonderful memory you reminded me of, thank you.

That is really lovely, Karen. Could you post it in the DIY Group to preserve it for posterity in it's own discussion? I am sure some people would like to make them for kids or doodles.

This is very cool.  I think I could probably handle something like this....no sewing involved!  This falls right into the category of the "pinking shears" bandannas.  LOL

My Mother in Law sent $10 each for the cats (Merry and Pippin) and Cooper. Unfortunately it will be spent on worming medication, but im sure some toys and treats will make it under the tree too!

Okay, I think this might put me in the over the top catagory.....This is Murphy's quilt I made for him when he was a puppy.
