Our 2 year old doodle loves bully sticks.  Our 11 week old puppy is chewing like crazy (appropriately).  I can't remember how old Daisy was when we gave her a bully stick for the 1st time.  Suggestions?

At 11 weeks, I doubt if she will actually get too much of the bully stick itself while she is chewing. My suggestion to customers is 15-20 minutes of chewing for dogs 6 months and up and about 10-12 minutes for small babies. And, of course, when it gets too short to see it in their mouth, toss it immediately. At Three Dog, we also have braided bully sticks which might last a little longer for the baby. :-)

I started my puppy on them right away.  I found out early that she loved these and they didn't upset her tummy!

I got some bully sticks and PetSmart for Lizzy. I can't believe how AWFUL they smell, like dead fish. Do all bully sticks smell?

I've never tried the ones from PetSmart.  I just bought some from bullysticks.com.  They didn't smell at all and do not stain anything either.

i started rufus about a month ago at 6 months i was sceptic cause was not sure if it would get stuck but he loves them and but i only give them to him for 15 min and take them away and i only let them get down to 5 to 6inch and throw them out i get nervous when they get to small ?? they do smell i try to have him chew them outside it i can ,,, no loose stool either
