Winter 2011

I do think there is a garden under there. Is this the same place? It seems buried today but beautiful. The blizzard last week left no snow on the trees but today's snow was a different matter. I love when the snow is fresh and every twig, and doodle hair, gets coated.

Some of you might remember the Fall 2010 maple. Recognize it : )

The garden may be buried but your yard is still breathtaking. I love the snowy trees!

Thanks, me too but could do without the wet doodles, but they do increase the indoor humidity, the boots etc.

Okay, I have something to add then. I was wondering what I was going to do with these 10 videos I took by accident besides delete them.

This months photography assignment had me on a 10 minute walk only to be very surprised by a long row of already formed Pussy Willow bushes. For me, Pussy Willows mean the very EARLIEST promise of impending Spring. But accidentally I took videos with my phone and not pictures. With the iphone you have to by a converter program to make videos into pictures. I was just about ready to delete the videos and redo my assignment for the photography group.

Don't delete anything. I love that the pussy willows are already appearing. Also, others may soon be having winter wonders like this, witch hazel etc. So nice to see in the midst of winter doldrums. Ask, in the PG if anyone can tell you how to upload these videos and get stills from them. One of the gurus will surely be able to accomplish this.

I can make pictures from my videos. Actually I prefer to do this anymore. Several of my last uploads are from movies. But for some reason my iphone will not work with the movie maker program. I think because it makes movies in quicktime. I may just spend the 99 cents or a little more and get the app. Dunno
