Does your doodle think they are a lap dog? Do they climb on to your lap and try to get comfortable. This is not what I had in mind when I wanted a big dog but it is just so cute and funny and I love it when he tries to climb into my lap for a cuddle, of course it is usually when I am using the laptop.

Quincy is so cute!

JD only puts his head on my lap. He is not a lap dog. :(

Karen that counts!!!  I think JD is a lap dog!!
YES!!  Sadly I don't have many photos of them on my lap, I need to get DH to take more photos.  Bandit is very much a cuddle bug always wanting to be on my lap, thankfully he is small and I can still be on the computer.  Rosey picks and chooses her lap time but she is pretty cuddly too.

Quincy is adorable, love his happy expression!

Z is not a lap dog, she does not like PDA (public display of affection, LOL!).  But K is totally a lap dog.  Each time he snatches a toy from Z he will come running to one of us (we are usually sitting on the floor, reading or watching the pups play), and sit right in my or DH's laps.  He is about 55 lbs.

Roo is a total lap dog.  At 50 pounds he cannot understand why he can't lay directly on top of me when I lay down.  I love the cuddling but it takes a bit to get him arranged so my legs don't go to sleep with him sprawled on me when I am sitting.
Maddie is a total 'lap' dog - all 60 lbs of her.  It started out with just her head and now she plops her entire upper body across my lap. I love it - she get's more kisses than DH ... shhhhhhhhhhh don't tell him.
Love this, a big teddy bear!  Rooney at almost 5 months is getting more snuggly but he is not a lap dog yet, still got the puppy wiggles.
Rua likes to sit on top of my chest when I am laying in bed for morning "Zen Puppy" massage.  Her best lap dog times now are Tuesday and Thursday evening...after spending the day at Bark Avenue's daycare!
Guinness is definitely a lap dog, and he's the perfect size for "lap snuggles".  Murphy would never fit on my lap...I wouldn't be able to breathe.  I get down on the floor to give him some "loving", or we snuggle in bed in the evening.  His favorite thing when he needs some affection is to rub against my legs (like a cat) and then just "lean on me".  It's very sweet.
Fudge is not a lap dog. If I pick her up and put her in my lap, she seems to like it, but will not jump up into your lap. Fudge likes to have you hold her paw, which I love. Vern, on the other hand, has no concept of his size (80 pounds) and thinks any lap was made for him. He likes to put one paw on each shoulder, like he is giving you a hug. In bed, he plops right down and you have to hope your leg, etc. is out of his way.
I think Oliver would be a lap dog if he could, but he is too big, lol, he rests his head on my lap, or leans into me or DD, and constantly wants his paw held.  He doesn't care he is so big, he wants to snuggle, and thats his way of doing it.  If he is on the couch, he will strtch out with his head and part of his body on our laps, for some loving, but he can't sit on our laps, lol...
Oh yeah... Penny is 70 lbs. and has ALWAYS thought of herself as a lap dog.  Every night, she jumps in either my husband's or my lap and falls asleep.  She will stay there throughout a whole movie... even longer, if we don't get up.
