What did your heavyweight weigh when you first took him/her home. (8-10 weeks)

Just wondering what your doodle's weighed when you first got them. My carlos was a whopping 15 pounds at 8 weeks! He was last weighed when he turned 6 months and was 56 pounds so I'm guessing he is around 60-63 pounds or so now at 7 months and 1 week and measures 23" tall.

Our new puppy was about 15 pds at 10 weeks and is now 6 months and about 45 pds I'd guess, Haven't weighed her in about a week, she was 42 then. 60-63 seems really big but I do know that our Murphy gained very quickly till about 8 months and then slowed way down. But he stayed at aroudn 50 pds for quite awhile and it took him almost another year to gain th 15 more pds he has on him now. SO at 2 he is 66 pds. I think he will maintain that weight and if he gets to gaining anymore weight I will cut back some more on his food. I like a fit and trim feel to their bodies, as does our Vet. You are going to have a big guy, that's for sure.
Toby was 5 pounds at 8 weeks, and at 2 1/2 is 80 pounds.  He grew up quickly!  For the first while, at every vet visit his weight doubled.  :)
Hello.  We have a huge girl doodle called Frankie. She was 20lbs when we brought her home at 10 weeks. She is now 18 months and weighs about 93lbs. She is probably one of the largest doodles I have ever seen and even more so now that we have let her big thick wool coat grow in. We have a smaller one too...60lbs and together, they are manageable...
My Jack weighed 64 lbs when I first took him home.... from the shelter where I adopted him. :)

Murphy was 6 lbs at 7 weeks.  42 lbs at 4 months. 60 lbs at 6 months.

Now at 4 years he is 98 lbs

Murphy full grown.....98 lbs 29 inches....

  and at 6 months.

Yes your murphy is a big boy! very handsome. I am hoping my carlos gets as big as him! I just love when they get really big, more to love !

I didn't plan on him being quite this big,,,,but I love it!

I just tell everyone, "He's from Texas..."

One little boy (about 6 or 7 and very heavyset) we saw in PetSmart told me

"Lady, if you wouldn't feed him that much, he wouldn't get THAT big!"

Very big,and lovable a handsome boy,Jake is 80lbs at 8 months we love him.
My dood was 15 pounds when we brought him home. Now he is 18 months and 90 pounds! haha:) We didn't want a standard poodle because they were too big and we got something even bigger. The breeder said he was going to be about 65 pounds. He passed that line a long time ago! hahaha:)

Huff was the same weight as carlos then! I hope carlos is 90 pounds! the bigger the better, he is already over 60 and only 7 months so I think he will get that big too. I don't know why breeders tell people that the dog will only be a certain weight. There is no way for them to know for sure, the puppies can pick up genes from neither the mom or the dad and instead get genes from the grandparents who might have been 100 pounds for all they know. But regardless, once we see those little faces it doesn't matter how they turn out were going to love them no matter what!

You never know Carlos might even be bigger than Huff. I know a dood who weighs 105 pounds and another that weighs 70 pounds. They are both labradoodles. Huff had a really big (and serious) standard poodle of a dad and a crazy golden retriever mama!:)
