I love this post because I love to play around with photos and see what others have done. The following was a shot we took in Switzerland (Luzern)
The sky was blown out but the building was so wonderful that I played around with the contrast and added a texture to soften the look.

Ooooooh! Thank you for posting this old building, Smita! I can't resist playing with it! I brought in clouds from Diane Margett's photo and a thunderbolt from a photo my son took. WIth CS5, I removed the pole, power lines, signs and AC unit. The "flood" was creating using a plugin by http://www.flamingpear.com (I'm not sure if it's CS5 compatible - I used the one I downloaded for CS4 last year.) And the "blizzard" effect was created with a Photoshop "Action" that I found online. :)

That's awesome! Despite what I said about liking people/dog photos more...when it comes to fun editing I think still life and nature and buildings give you much more to play with!

I can't see the 3rd picture...just the red X box!!! That is soooo cool what you did. I am in awe! I would take lessons from you in a heartbeat! Too bad I don't live near Vegas!
