So in Nashville our winters are pretty much BLAH, consisting of dampness and darkness.

 

It is a pain having the dogs come back inside with dirty paws.  I used to keep a big ugly towel by the back door and have Peri wait for her paws to be cleaned after every time.  Problem is it's big and strews debris everywhere!

 

Then I found this at Bed, Bath & Beyond a few weeks ago:

 

 

They were $10 but I decided, hey, let's give them a try!  We are obsessed now. They absorb WAY better than a normal towel, take up less room and are cleaner to use.  They are washable and dry super fast.

 

I just wanted to throw this product out there for my fellow DKers to try!

Plus since they aren't as thick as a towel, you can get in and really clean out the paw pads easier (in between if you know what I mean).

We use these and really like them, got them at Bed Bath and Beyond as well (20% coupon YAY) They are great for the paws however for his body we use a generic version of the ShamWow-works really well.

 

As for not chewing them well....Snickers will steal them from the top of the crate and run around the coffee table with it in his mouth until we notice!

Thanks for the tip!  This is exactly what I need!  Cooper hates when I come at him with a towel and chews on it, trys to grab it from me. I think he will hand me his front paws with these on for a treat.   Then all I have to do is get him to stand for the back ones.

oh how neat, i didnt see them at our store the other day (in Canada) maybe I need to look harder - were they with the towels, or the pet section?

In our store, they were in a middle section (in the aisles), with other pet products.  They are on the online Bed, B, B website too, so I think most stores must carry them....probably in Canada too!
