Just wondering if anyone has tried the Paw Plunger, and how effective it really is, particularly with the mini snowballs...Thanks! http://www.pawplunger.com/index.php

Once again there is/are old discussion(s) on this but the search function is on the fritz. I think it got mixed reviews at best.

I just hold my warm hand against the paws and it helps for a quick thaw.

I heard this works but I have never tried one.

To me it seems more trouble than it's worth, especially if you have more than four paws to plunge. Now try saying that last part fast.
I have one and love it. Though I find you have to fill it really full to work really well (but Cooper does have big feet!) . Its great for getting muddy feet clean and melting snow!
Works great for the snowballs. It comes in different sizes. I use the largest for my 93 pound boy.
We have one and love it. Mostly for when their paws are really muddy though. Haven't used it for snow melting though. I usually just put them in the tub and use the hand shower if the snow balls are really heavy.
I just dip his paws in warm water. You could fill up a bowl or bucket. We usually put him in a warm bath...
the paw plunger is great for in the car... washing feet before getting onto the back seat
Thanks for your feedback doodlekissers!

I use the Paw Plunger and I have also written a review here on DK about it:

I am very happy with it also for the snowballs during the winter. My boys wear snow suits so that the snowballs are mainly an issue on the paws. Before I leave the house for a walk I prepare the paw plunger with warm water and put it next to the door together with a towel. With warm water in it the snowballs melt in no time. For us it works very well.

Thanks Zoe! I'm also very tempted to get a snow suit for Scooby with all the snow we've been getting lately!

Here is a picture of Tyler in his suit. It has a fleece liner which you can remove so that you can use the suit as well for rainy or muddy weather the rest of the year. The brand is Hurtta, it is European so I am not sure if you can get it where you are, but worth checking google. I am very happy with the suit in combination with the paw plunger.
