When did your doodle finish growing?

At about what age did you notice your doodle was finished growing. My boy is 7 months and I would like a general idea of when he will finish growing, thanks guys! :)

Murphy was 70 lbs at 7 months.  He is now 98 lbs and 29 inches tall. I think he was around 90 lbs at a year.

Gavin was 56 lbs at 6.5 months and is 66 lbs at 17 months.  I think he reached his height of 29 inches at about 10 months.  He may fill out a bit more - maybe 70 lbs.

Zack is 93 pounds and 29 inches at 21 months. He has added an additional 3 pounds over the last month. His dad is 60 pounds and his mom is 40 pounds. He must have got his size from a grandparent along the way.

COOPER IS A F1, AND WAS 90 LBS AT 9 MOS.  HE IS NOW 21 MOS, AND ABOUT THE SAME SIZE, AND WEIGHS 94 LBS, SO I WOULD SAY HE WAS PRETTY MUCH FULL GROWN AT 9 MOS.

Vern is one years old and I am still waiting for him to stop growing. He is at 80 pounds. Fudge topped out at about 45 pounds and it seems to me she was done at about 10 months.

My youngest is 7 months old and 50 lbs.  We just adopted him 2 weeks ago and were told by the DRC lady who assisted with his adoption, that she expected him to top out at 80 lbs.  If feet are an indication, I can easily believe 80 lbs... hope his spindly legs increase in mass, or he's going to like like one of the robots in War of the Worlds!

Our doodle is 2 yrs 4 mths....he just never seems to stop growing!!  He is 98 lbs and is as fit as an Olympic athlete...no fat.  I just returned home last night from a week in the Dominican Republic and he looks bigger again to me....we adore every ounce.  I thought he would finish growing at a year old....he was 83 lbs then but too lean.  Now he has filled out with muscle.  He is one BIG boy and thankfully has the kindest gentle temperament.  So...if your pup is 7 mths old and weighs somewhere in the vicinity of 55-60 lbs and is bred from a standard poodle and what sounds like a large GR....I would guess he has a lot more growing and weight gain ahead of him.  My sister in laws male Golden Retreiver weighs 140 lbs.  YIKES

I thought Wilson was done growing at 12 months, but he truly didn't stop growing until almost two.  Most of his height came year one, but year two he filled out.  At 12 months, he weighed 27 - 28 pounds, he finished at 32 and has stayed there for two years.  He is almost exactly as predicted.  At 16 weeks, he weighed 17 pounds.  I was told to double it and allow an additional 5.  He is just about spot-on.

Sunny stopped growing at about 9-10 months. She's a mini labradoodle and she's 23 pounds. Now she's 17 months old.

Murphy stopped around 12 months in height and around 18 months in weight. But the increases were small for both after about 9-12 months. I have read they can grow for at least 2 years or more, but again it would depend on the type. The four month rule of thumb guide seems to be a pretty consistant indicator of full growth. At least for most of the doodles I know.  Either way, you will love every inch and ounce!

ha ha ha ha...too late of a night last night and I have been taking a Photoshop class all day and on the computer.  My eyes are mush...can't focus at all.  I noticed my mistake just before I saw your comment!!!  How can we make the font bigger in DK?

 

ANYWAY...mine stopped at just around 2 years old!  But she is a very big standard size!  And still she doesn't growl!!!!
