Hi!! I am going to be ordering the CC 16mm tbrush after reading such positive reviews. Are there any other great CC tools that I should buy? Ella is only 11 weeks old, but I plan on grooming her. She has a soft, wavy coat (for now LOL)... I have the dremel, andis clippers, grooming table... I am now on the hunt for brushes and combs :) I think that I would like the comb as well, but there are so many to choose from. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I just ordered and received a wood pin brush from them and also a staggered tooth comb that is heavy and helpful with knots.  But now I regret not getting Ice on Ice a leave in conditioner that is supposed to be great with mats.... I am up to my ears with products but still too scared to try using the clippers.
I also love the Ice on Ice (I also use Cowboy Magic) but I use the Ice on Ice as a final rinse, as well as to spray her down after brushing.  I'd recommend buying the concentrated one and diluting it yourself in a spray bottle with a trigger -- much easier to use than the pump spray bottle.

Welcome Chris

For a comb, my favourite is a 7.5 inch long and 1.25 inch tyne length with coarse and medium teeth.

My girls shove each other off the table in hopes of being the one to be combed. The other day, 3 got up at once, so I had to take a pic. They all have short coats right now. The 2 on the outside are one year olds and are in the coat change and the one in the center will be a mom this spring so I shorten the coat.

Oh my, they are GEORGEOUS!!!
Which is better, the staggered teeth or regular? So many choices :)

Just checking to see if you mean that you buy the CC combs...and have two of them...in the sizes that you mentioned?

I'm just about to order combs...and wanted to know which brands...types and sizes to order?

Thanks...yet once again...(smile)

By the way...your girls are just beautiful...

I always admire your doodles Barb...

Wow, this answers so many questions of mine.  I'm downloading all your advice.  Now I know what is happening to Sheila, my one yr. old mini ALD.  I had just thought, well her coat won't change after all this time.  It was never tangly before, but now it has gotten way curlier around her head and her legs matted on a trip even tho I combed them every day.  She is curly fleece, so the hair is VERY fine and I like her to look puffy like your one yr olds.  Last time my groomer said she had mats (she had like 3 and I told her about them and asked that she just cut them out).  When I came to Sheila, she had SHAVED HER all over, except head and tail.  She just said too many mats, would hurt her to get them out.  I was furious.  We live in Illinois and although I had a special snow suit that covered everything but paws and head, now she in NAKED for the winter and I've bought her all these sweaters.  And this groomer loves Sheila!!!  I don't think she has been trained on labradoodles though.

She looks like a poodle w/ long legs now and I HATE it!

I have the t brush and love it. Just got the coarse/fine longtooth buttercomb and love it even more! It just glides through her hair and works out tangles really well. Stella has a soft wavey coat too. It is a great tool. I have collected quite an arsenal of grooming supplies and have ordered a open tool tote to put everything in. I'll post a pic when i get it.
Thanks so much!!! I will order them this week. Just a bit confused though as to whether to purchase a staggered tooth or not. Do they work the same?
