Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Our F1 standard Goldendoodle Toby has gone from pretty straight and fluffy with no actual curls to pretty tight wavy curls with a little baby fluff poking out from inbetween the curls.. :) He is so beautiful!!
He is a year and a half. He does not shed at all.
Please also notice the transition of his nose... it goes from pretty black to skin colored or what I think people call a Rose nose..
Toby LOVES his Lion!Tags:
That is a pretty dramatic change. Lucy had much the same type hair as Toby when she was a little puppy. Very fluffy, although her head, ears and legs were quite curly, even early on. After her 1st clipping the curls really showed. If you parted her hair before that 1st clipping, you cold see just how curly the hair was growing in. Curlier and lighter, that's what our breeder told us Lucy would get as she matured.
BTW, Toby IS beautiful!
I love the straight look. But I love the curls too.Would like one of each.
My Shea is is a large cream. At first his hair was fluffy, the curly.I like the unkept look that he has. Mya,my little black ,has silky hair and has been that way since I got her.No change in her coat at all. Aja ,also a cream has gone from very soft silky hair to more of a course retreiver feeling coat. They are all two years. They all still have black noses. They all would shred that lion!I have to find toys that are indistrustive.Even the tough fire hose toys only last a few hours. I found heavy balls with rope are the best. They can't eat them.
This is a great example of what we are talking about when we say "coat change". Our Sophie's nose did the same thing! He is adorable.
Wow, what a transformation! Such a cutie!
Wow. He changed so much. All of these pups make me wonder what my Watson will end up looking like. Toby is precious, and I love his sweet nose.
Beautiful doodle! That is quite the transformation of fur texture!
